Dear Friend,

On behalf of the Dundas Community Services Board of Directors, and the individuals and families we serve, we encourage you to consider a financial contribution to our agency.

Last year, donors helped us to:

  • Provide 6, 368 nutritional meals delivered by 123 dedicated volunteers through the Meals on Wheels program to 105 seniors, persons with disabilities, people chronically ill or convalescing.
  • Drive and escort 398 seniors and persons with disabilities to 2,094 medical appointments and grocery stores through our Assisted Transportation service.
  • Assist 4,038 people with food collected by over 350 volunteers in our two community food drives.

The need and requests for community services continue to grow. Over the past year, more seniors and persons with disabilities visited or contacted our office for help and support.

You can show your support for our much-needed services by including Dundas Community Services when you are considering your charitable contributions for this year. Please fill out the pledge form or donate now.

Your gift enhances the grants we receive from United Way, the City of Hamilton, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care through the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Local Health Integration Network, and the Government of Canada. (Read the funding agreement between Dundas Community Services and the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Local Health Integration Network).

Thank you for your anticipated assistance.

Best regards,

Robin McGinlay

Chair, Board of Directors
